When we first set out to design the B.A.L.C.S. (Battery Aerial Lift Charging Station), our mission was simple — to make jobsites safer, cleaner, and more efficient. What began as a rough prototype built out of necessity has evolved into a polished, field-proven product that is changing the way contractors power their work.

The Prototype: A Simple Idea, Built for Safety

The original B.A.L.C.S. prototype was born out of real jobsite challenges. Anyone who’s worked construction knows the frustration of tangled extension cords, scattered chargers, and constant tripping hazards.
We saw it daily — messy setups that slowed productivity and created safety risks. So we built our first prototype to solve one core problem: centralizing power safely and efficiently.

That first version was rugged but basic — a single-sided unit with retractable cord reels and standard outlets mounted to a steel frame. It proved the concept worked. Contractors immediately recognized the value in having a dedicated, mobile charging hub that eliminated clutter and hazards.

Version 2: Built Tougher, Smarter, and More Functional

After receiving valuable feedback from our first users, we went back to the drawing board. The second version introduced heavy-duty steel construction, lockable panels, and integrated cord management, making it both durable and jobsite-ready.

We refined every detail — adding casters for mobility, improving outlet layouts, and strengthening wiring channels for long-term reliability. The B.A.L.C.S. quickly evolved from a simple convenience to a must-have safety tool on major commercial projects.
